Scrum Master (Contract/Permanent)

Location: India
 

Scrum Master

  • 6 months contract + extensions (Possibility for contract to hire)
  • Remote working - Offshore in India preferred.

An excellent opportunity for an Agile Scrum Master to join a leading international client on a minimum 6 month contract with opportunity to extend long term or convert to a permanent employee. Start ASAP.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Agile Scrum Master. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Agile methodologies, particularly SAFE, and have a proven track record in project delivery within the Finance domain, with familiarity in FP&A being desirable.

Responsibilities:

o Act as a Scrum Master and support the Release Train Engineer (RTE), facilitating Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, PI Planning.

o Provide support to leaders in managing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of software solutions.

o Coordinate dependencies and cultivate stakeholder relationships to support the team in achieving program goals.

o Mentor and coach Agile teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

o Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Development Teams, and other stakeholders to effectively prioritize and manage the product backlog.

o Implement and uphold project management best practices, processes, and tools to optimize delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

This experienced Scrum Master will be supporting a Cognos TM1 project which is a project to update the financial planning activity in Europe and India over the last 4 to 5 years. They are working with lots of areas of the business. This Scrum Master will support the top line site so this includes volume, revenue, etc.

The project is moving from Europe to AMESA, focusing initially on India and Pakistan. As such the team are looking for someone in the South Asia area initially

Requirements:

o Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer (RTE) in Agile environments.

o Demonstrable success in delivering projects within the Finance domain (in roles such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Project Manager, or team lead), with knowledge of FP&A processes being advantageous.

o Strong understanding of Agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks (eg, Scrum, SAFe).

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and dependencies.

o Experience in managing and resolving conflicts within Agile and international teams.

o Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results and delivering value to the organization.

o Nice to have:

Familiarity with Azure or IBM TM1 technologies
