Your new employer is one of the most highly decorated and respected construction contractors in Mid-Ulster, a family-run business with over 40 years' experience across multiple sectors. They are now looking to add an experienced Project Manager to join their expanding team. They have a fantastic reputation within the private, public, commercial, heritage and residential sectors on esteemed projects across Northern Ireland establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with each & every client over the years.
Your new role
Due to company growth coming from continuous success within the market across multiple sectors, the company has a requirement for a Projects Manager, responsible for the overall planning and management of multiple assigned projects from commercial projects, high-end private residential developments & social housing schemes.As Project Manager, your new role will involve creating and planning construction plans while managing and co-ordinating demanding schedules. You will be tasked with the effective planning and programming of labour and projects, the selection of subcontractors, management of the site team and direct labour & liaising with the client and design teams, ensuring that all projects undertaken are completed in the set time and within budget.
What you'll need to succeed
As this role and employer cover many different areas and sectors within the world of construction, you will need to have a proven track record of working in a similar environment in a similar capacity. Due to working and collaborating with many different workers and external bodies, you will need to be an excellent communicator with fantastic people skills.The ability to use your own initiative to overcome problems that may arise and therefore being able to act effectively. A great attention to detail across all stages and aspects of the project, including planning & time management making sure things are completed within the set time frame, while being completed compliantly by all involved.
