DevOps Engineer (Permanent)

Location: Bristol Country: UK Rate: £60k - 75k per annum
 
DevOps Engineer

A technology consultancy is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their team in Bristol. In this role, you'll work on cutting-edge projects for clients across various industries, leveraging a modern tech stack including AWS/Azure, Terraform, Docker, Linux, VMware, Kubernetes, and Ansible.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and day-to-day responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS or Azure
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins/GitHub Actions
  • Containerize applications with Docker and manage Kubernetes clusters
  • Automate provisioning with IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and security best practices across environments
  • Collaborate with development teams in an Agile environment, contributing to innovative solutions
Additionally, you should have proven experience with public cloud platforms, strong Linux skills, solid networking knowledge, hands-on experience with containerisation, proficiency in DevOps tools/practices, Scripting abilities for automation, the ability to create technical documentation, and a willingness to be onsite in Bristol 3 days per week.
