A Senior Embedded C++ Software Engineer is now needed for a centrally based company in Newcastle. The company are working on technology that directly impacts day to day lives and this is your chance to be part of a company where you will be making a positive impact within society. You will be working alongside the mechanical and Electronics teams working with hardware control, data and image analysis for diagnostic devices.

You will be working to a hybrid model in a team of 5 other engineers and reporting into the Engineering Manager. You will ideally have had experience in programming in C++ using modern versions on Embedded Linux and any exposure to Yocto or Buildroot would be an advantage. As the Senior Embedded Engineer you will be also looking after the architectural design of the software and performing peer code reviews as well as mentoring junior engineers when needed.

- Yocto/Buidlroot

- Any experience of working in a safety critical environment./Regulated industry.

- Mentoring Junior Engineers.
