Senior Java Developer (Contract)
Location: London Country: UK Rate: £500pd
 

Work Type: Hybrid (1 day onsite per week in London or Manchester)

Contract Duration: 6 months

SC CLEARANCE: MUST HOLD ACTIVE SC

We are seeking highly skilled Senior Java Developers with tech lead experience to join our public sector client on a 6-month contract. This role involves working on a public service registration platform, primarily developing using Java/J2EE with WildFly server and Oracle DB.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in Java/J2EE development, including experience with WildFly server.
  • Strong experience with Oracle DB, including stored procedures and DB indexes.
  • Experience with VB.NET development.
  • Demonstrable tech lead experience, providing guidance and leadership to development teams.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging, and system integration.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced agile environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Tech Lead Experience

Any successful candidate MUST be pre-cleared and hold ACTIVE SC.
