Business Systems Analyst - Outside IR35 Contract - ASAP start

Our leading client is seeking a specialist Business Systems Analyst to join them for a 12-month contract. This is a great opportunity to work on a large-scale international Microsoft Dynamics D365 and Fleet management upgrade programme.

Key responsibilities:

  • The main purpose of the BSA is to facilitate and capture the business requirements during the design phase as well as the more technical materials involved in any necessary build activity, particularly for integration with existing systems.
  • The BSA will be instrumental in supporting the testing phase of the project, providing insight into the agreed solution.
  • The BSA is to begin the process of handover to BAU so that knowledge transfer takes place from the outset to the team responsible for ongoing support.

Key Skills

  • Fleet management or asset management experience would be an advantage.
  • Work with business leads and project management staff to fully understand the solution to be deployed;
  • Facilitate and document the requirements for the solution, through the user stories/acceptance criteria and/or functional design documents;
  • Provide any necessary support to PQQ/RFI/RFP for the inclusion of business requirements, as well as assessing all formal written responses and presentations/demos.
  • Carry out technical impact analysis on scope so that anything introduced by the project can be reviewed in terms of the effect it may have on existing systems, integrations, support processes and data;
  • Work with the Technical Architect to identify the changes that will be needed for existing systems and applications, as well as supporting options for integration with other systems;
  • Work with the Test Lead and Test Analysts to produce test scenarios that can be used to validate the solution, as well as reviewing test scenarios and test scripts that have been produced;
  • Provide guidance and support to L&OD resources for training materials that will be relevant to users of systems and applications;
  • Provide handover guidance to development staff working on existing systems so that they understand the changes they are making in the context of the solution;
  • Support the Technical Lead and Technical Architect in the handover of the solution to BAU Support staff;
  • Provide cutover and Hypercare support to triage and fix issues identified and where required, document workarounds should fixes not be available
